A stigma is a power or authority or a skill that belonged to a divine being, someone who possessed divinity and acknowledgement of the world.
Divinity, still, is not a power but a concept. To 'possess' divinity is pretty different for all beings since it's not a power but a state of being.

Gods are either very old beings who have existed for a long, long time or are people who achieved something that the others of their kind could not and understood the truths of the world that the world does not want them to understand.
