Chapter 69 - Visitor

After a thorough harvesting of the goddess herself, a knock was heard at the door. It was in the middle of the night and to be sincere, he had a cool goddess at his bed, so who in their right mind would dare disturb them?

"You might want to check on that," Jasmine said, biting her lower lip. Kin, dressed in a bathroom robe, walked to the door, peeking through the tiny visor to see who was behind it. The Atlantian warrior stood across the hallway her back to the door, showcasing her ample curves to the victim of the night.

'I sincerely hope it's not another Gaia, I'm down for the day,' mumbled Kyn as he unlocked the door without even thinking of her attacking. Jasmine, on the other hand, had already crawled out of the bed and was busy pouring herself a cup of wine as Kyn welcomed in their new guest.

Hearing the door open, the Atlantean turned round, coming face to face with Kyn, who had a sheepish smile coming from the escapade he'd just been on and the jugs that were currently pointed at him unannounced, clothed in armour, but the cleavage was pretty much generous for the gents.

Clearing her throat, "Eyes up here! Human... I'm looking for Gaia. Her scent is strongest here; may I have a word?"

Coming from the back, Gaia said, "Let her in ... she's our ticket to see Poseidon."

Gracefully the Atlantean walked into the room, eyeing her surroundings before a quite visible blush came upon her face. "If you don't mind, I should have waited outside for you to freshen up before barging in." She said while bowing her head to the barely clothed goddess, "If you may allow me to leave, your grace."

Deep down in Kyn's mind, 'Your grace, my foot, she just took advantage of me. I was just minding my own business training when I had a pair of bun warm up my back, and boom, "the broomstick" appeared online. I can not even fall asleep with her around. You coming here was the best idea the heavens gave me compared to letting her loose.

Gaia, taking a sip of her wine, couldn't help but nod at Kyn's exaggerated thoughts; the fella was the one doing the ponding and now was busy ogling another lady right before he let her in. A slight chuckle came from her lips as she asked the Atlantean to sit by the nightstand as she got herself dressed.

"So what brings a fish onto the land?" She asked as she fiddled through Kyn's clothes trying to find something decent to wear.

"Your Grace, my lord wishes for an audience with you and especially your champion," she said, looking back to Kyn, who was back in bed and ready to sleep.

"Come on, can't a man sleep in here?" Looking up over the duvet, Kyn turned to look back at the two ladies, one of whom was mischievously smiling while the other was appalled by his antics.

"Show some respect, mortal," said the Atlantean as she looked down on him.

'Well, you the one with poor timing...'

Gaia couldn't help but start laughing at Kyn's thoughts as the fella pretty much called the Atlantean a "sea urchin" with no sense of time as he winked back at Gaia.

"Am afraid we cannot move as of this instance, as we are currently occupied," replied Gaia, "But as of tomorrow morning, we wouldn't mind taking you up on your offer."

Kyn's face : (o^^o)

"But you, Grace, his Lordship seemed eager to greet him; you could stay as I ferry the mortal back to Atlantis," the Atlantean requested.

Gaia raised her voice and said, "Your name is Fish!"

"Asa Greiyron, your grace," replied the Atlantean in a low voice.

"Do you want to feel the wrath of a goddess?" said Gaia as her eyes turned to two beady black eyes staring down at the insolent messenger. A shallow no came as the reply... "If I say tomorrow morning or the day after that, so shall it be. Do I make myself clear? ...Asa?"

Asa, bowing down with both fear and respect, 'Yes, your grace.'

Kyn was slightly surprised by his mischievous queen all of a sudden turning into an oppressive lord in less than a minute. Especially those eyes, those dark beady eyes reminded him of death. And he currently had a monthly subscription to it courtesy of Khaos and Mot back in its domain.

"Now if you wouldn't mind, kindly step outside this instance; as you can see, we are in the middle of something," she added.

Just as she came in, Asa left the room briskly, as she could not help but accept she'd just ordered a goddess to bid her will. The very fact that Gaia had let her leave without injury was perplexing given her rage capable of toppling cities to the ground. As she left the room, Gaia walked over to the door and locked it, turning back to the wolf who was currently pretending to be asleep. With a flick of her finger, her clothes fell off, and so did Sir. BoomStick live to fight again.
