Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Crazy Man

Fu Ying was surprised. The treatment method was simple enough, just two infusions and a follow-up review, but to encounter such a thing with no one around.

"Today is really unlucky," Fu Ying sighed as she went to the infusion area with Li Yanqian.

"Yeah, it's really unlucky," Li Yanqian echoed.

Her attention was drawn to a man passing by.

The man's face was red and swollen, and there were ulcers on his neck. At first glance, it reminded her of the zombies she had seen in her previous life, but when she saw him complaining to the woman next to him and scratching himself, she dismissed her doubts.

Zombies can't speak.

While waiting for Fu Ying's infusion in the infusion area, she saw the same two people again. His red and swollen face was scratched, leaving marks. People around them wanted to avoid them, fearing they might get infected.

"Don't get me wrong, my husband had some seafood yesterday and had an allergic reaction. This is a diagnosis certificate from a doctor, not an infectious disease," the woman beside the man explained loudly. Her husband was not only allergic but also experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. They had come to get fluids. She explained because others were looking at them disgustedly.

"Okay, okay, why are you blabbering so much? I haven't eaten anything. Go buy me something to eat. Get some meat." The man impatiently said.

"Well, the doctor said you need to have a light diet recently." The woman complained, but she still put the diagnosis certificate back in her bag and left to buy food for the man.

"I knew we should have gone to Xiaoqing's private hospital. It's so noisy here," Fu Ying complained. They wouldn't have chosen this hospital if they weren't going back to school.

Lao Zhou had parted ways with them after the police finished questioning, saying that the materials they were going to donate had arrived early.

"This hospital has a good reputation. At least it identified your problem," Li Yanqian comforted, sitting next to Fu Ying, waiting for her infusion. But she couldn't help but glance at the man who claimed to be allergic to seafood.

He seemed more and more irritable, scratching his neck from time to time. Whether it was due to lack of rest or not, Li Yanqian noticed that his eye circles were red.

"Do you smell something bad?" Fu Ying approached and asked, feeling that the odor was coming from the man.

"A bad smell?" Li Yanqian sniffed, but she couldn't detect any odor.

"Sir, please don't move so much. It might dislodge the needle," a passing nurse kindly advised the man.

"You **** dare to control me?!" The man suddenly stood up without warning and attempted to grab the nurse's neck. He yanked the needle and infusion bottle off the ground, oblivious to what he had done.

Most of the people in the infusion area were patients and their family members. No one expected the man to suddenly become violent. It was only when the nurse was pinned to the ground that a few male family members stepped forward to intervene.

The more people gathered around him, the angrier and more agitated the man became. Five or six adults struggled to restrain him, and one of the medical staff accidentally got bitten.

Li Yanqian's expression darkened as she finally understood why she had felt something strange earlier. The mad man's face and cheeks were beginning to develop ulcers, but the people around him hadn't noticed it for a while.

"Ouch, why did he bite? Could it be rabies?" Fu Ying felt pain for the medical staff. At that moment, the crazy man was finally subdued by a few people. The young nurse on the ground had turned red and purple around her neck, coughing hoarsely.

"After the infusion, are you going back to school or going home?" Li Yanqian asked, lowering her eyes as if nothing had happened.
