I'd wake up, a knocking in my head, as if a sōzu had been lodged in there. Its sound of falling water and hollow wood striking against rock was calming, yet, it was annoying. It would stop the moment I got up though, to my liking, and distaste.
It was pleasant after all, my only qualm was when I was hearing it, thus, I wasn't all that bothered by it. I couldn't' quite bring it back though, so I'd get up, and as I did, I would see the new additions to my room.
A straw basket sat on the small wooden table, the aroma of raw meat and vegetables escaping it, not to mention iron and petrichor. I'd make my way over, and looking inside, there was at least five pounds of raw meet in there, at least.
It obviously wasn't alone though, and looking at everything else, there was a bottle of water, an uncomfortable number of beans, parcels of seasoning and strangely, a bag of blood, what kind, I had no clue.
