A grim eagle's screech echoed through the dense forest, as a puff of black mist shot out from Casar's shoulder, silently and swiftly approaching the Rock-eating Rat in front of it.
"Squeak, squeak."
The Rock-eating Rat, brandishing its teeth and claws, was unable to dodge in time and was directly penetrated by the black mist.
Its body stiffened abruptly, and then it fell to the ground, convulsing violently, yet there were no visible wounds on its surface.
The black mist circled around the forest unimpeded, making a large loop, and eventually settled back on Casar's shoulder.
As the dense mist dispersed, a phantom bird resembling an eagle appeared before everyone's eyes.
Its ghostly outline was like that of a hawk; its folded wings and tail emitted continuously rolling black mist, and the only color on its entire body was the pair of sharp red eagle eyes.
