Pan Xiaoxin had already climbed quite a distance; it seemed like he could hear shouting and cursing from behind him, so he quickened his pace.
"Damn it!" Daniel grabbed his backpack and started climbing upwards with hands and feet!
Bruce and Mute were woken up by the commotion and hurriedly followed suit.
"How can this kid climb so fast?!" Daniel cursed while climbing, "Had I known, I wouldn't have listened to you two! What if he gets to the sword first?! I can't afford to lose to a kid like this, that would be too humiliating!"
He stopped, took out his slingshot, and tried to aim once again!
But shooting upwards was very different from shooting downwards; the sunlight above was blinding, making it impossible for him to target Pan Xiaoxin.
This slight delay allowed Pan Xiaoxin to widen the gap again.
"Chase him!" Bruce said, "The kid won't have that much stamina, he'll definitely stop to rest after a while, we just need to speed up!"
