Riski and Proto-Syal regrouped, watching in awe as the monster continued to wreak havoc. Its sixteen massive tendrils flailed about, destroying everything in their path, while countless smaller tendrils wriggled and squirmed across its body, giving it the appearance of a giant, living meatball.
The air was thick with the smell of smoke and destruction, and the ground trembled beneath their feet as the monster's tendrils slammed into the earth. Riski's eyes were fixed on the creature, his mind racing with the implications of its transformation.
"How's the situation inside?" Riski asked Proto-Syal, his voice barely above a whisper.
"It's the same as when you left," Proto-Syal replied, its robotic voice devoid of emotion. "The others are still unconscious, but they're stable. Many regular people dead though, half of them cooked."
Riski's eyes narrowed. "Where's your master?" he asked, assuming that Syal had already awoken.
Proto-Syal's response was immediate. "Negative, but positive. Well, the thing is... I am Syal."
Riski's eyes widened in surprise, his mind struggling to comprehend the implications of Proto-Syal's words. But before he could ask any questions, Proto-Syal cut him off.
"Anyway, what's the plan?" the robot asked, its voice firm and resolute.
Riski's gaze snapped back to the monster, his mind racing with possibilities. "What else?" he muttered. "We need to end it."
Proto-Syal nodded, its mechanical body swiveling as it turned to face the monster. "Agreed. But we'll need to come up with a new strategy. That thing is almost invulnerable."
Riski nodded, his eyes scanning the battlefield. "I've been thinking... maybe we can use the environment to our advantage."
Proto-Syal raised an eyebrow. "Go on."
Riski's gaze locked onto the monster. "We can use the debris to our advantage. Create a trap, or a barricade... something to limit its movement. Then completely nuke it. Owh I mean by nuke is completely fired it."
Proto-Syal nodded, its mechanical body tense with anticipation. "Let's do it. But before that,"
Proto-Syal's eyes scanned the surrounding area, its gaze locking onto the scattered construction materials. "I can use the iron from those materials to enhance my body," it said.
Riski's eyes widened in understanding. "You can absorb the iron and use it to get bigger?"
Proto-Syal nodded, its mechanical body already beginning to shift and contort. "Yes not just iron but my energy limited best to use high quality material, I can use the iron to enhance my structure and increase my size."
As Riski watched, Proto-Syal began to absorb the iron from the surrounding materials, its body growing larger and more imposing with each passing moment. The robot's limbs lengthened, its torso expanded, and its mechanical muscles bulged with newfound power.
In a matter of moments, Proto-Syal had transformed from a small, agile robot into a hulking mechanical giant. Its body was now a towering mass of iron and steel, its mechanical muscles rippling with power as it prepared to face the monster.
Riski's eyes shone with excitement as he gazed upon Proto-Syal's new form. "Now we're ready," he said, a fierce grin spreading across his face.
Proto-Syal nodded, its mechanical voice rumbling with power. "Let's end this."
"Move according to plan," Riski said, his eyes locked onto the monster. "You find a way to trap it, I'll cook it."
Proto-Syal's mechanical voice responded with a crisp "Affirmative." With a burst of speed, the robot charged towards the monster, its massive iron body barreling forward like a freight train.
Riski, meanwhile, began to prepare a big move. His hands weaved the short staff into intricate patterns in the air, and a faint hum of magical energy began to build around him.
Bah!
A fireball conjured but that's not immediately fired. Riski with his energy manipulation core start to detonate thing around, the explosion was sucked into the small fireball. Little by little the ball gets bigger.
As Proto-Syal closed in on the monster, it suddenly lunged to the side, its mechanical body dodging the creature's flailing tendrils with ease. The robot then swiftly changed direction, using its massive iron body to block the monster's path and create a barrier between it and the surrounding environment.
The monster, enraged at being trapped, unleashed a frenzy of attacks, its tendrils slamming into Proto-Syal's iron body with deafening crashes. But the robot held firm, its mechanical muscles straining with effort as it maintained its position.
Proto-Syal countered with a barrage of swift punches and kicks, its mechanical limbs a blur as it struck at the monster's tendrils. The creature howled in rage as its tendrils were battered and crushed, but it refused to back down.
The battle between Proto-Syal and the monster raged on for what seemed like an eternity, the two combatants exchanging blows and neither gaining the upper hand. Riski watched anxiously, his fireball building to a critical point.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Proto-Syal landed a devastating combination of punches and kicks, sending the monster stumbling backward. The robot seized the opportunity, pinning the creature to the ground with its massive iron body.
Riski, seeing his chance, finished his chant and raised his hands to the sky. A blast of intense fireball arcing towards the monster like a bolt of lightning.
"It's time to cook," Riski muttered, a fierce grin spreading across his face.
The blast of fireball struck both Proto-Syal and the monster, sending them flying. Proto-Syal's iron body glowed with a faint red light as it absorbed the energy, its mechanical limbs melting slightly from the intense heat.
The monster, however, was not so fortunate. The blast ripped through its body, vaporizing a massive 80% of its mass. The creature's remaining tendrils flailed wildly, its central core pulsing with a faint, malevolent energy.
Despite its catastrophic injuries, the monster refused to die. Its remaining mass began to shift and contort, reforming into a twisted, nightmarish shape. The creature's core pulsed with an otherworldly energy, as if it was drawing power from some dark, malevolent force.
Proto-Syal, still reeling from the blast, struggled to its feet. Its iron body was damaged, but it was far from defeated. The robot's mechanical eyes locked onto the monster, its processing core burning with a fierce determination.
"We're not done yet," Proto-Syal growled, its voice distorted by the damage to its mechanical body.
Riski, watching from a distance, nodded in agreement. "Finish it," he said, his voice cold and detached.
The stage was set for the final showdown. Proto-Syal, damaged but unbroken, prepared to face the monster in a battle to the death. The creature, its mass depleted but its malevolent energy still pulsing, waited with twisted, nightmarish anticipation.
Proto-Syal, its iron body still smoldering from the fireball blast, charged forward with a fierce determination. The robot's mechanical limbs glowed with a faint red-blue light as it exchanged blows with the monster.
The creature, its mass depleted, had transformed into a twisted, worm-like creature. Its remaining tendrils turn into worm body flailed wildly, striking at Proto-Syal with a venomous precision.
The flaming robot countered with a barrage of swift punches and kicks, its mechanical limbs a blur as it struck at the monster's tendrils. The creature howled in rage as its tendrils were battered and crushed, but it refused to back down.
Proto-Syal's iron body glowed brighter as the battle raged on, its mechanical muscles straining with effort as it fought to overpower the monster. The creature's worm-like body squirmed and twisted, its tendrils striking at Proto-Syal with a relentless ferocity.
The air was filled with the acrid smell of burning metal and the sound of crashing and screeching as the two combatants clashed. Riski watched anxiously, his eyes fixed on the battle as he waited for the outcome. He already out of energy.
Who would emerge victorious? The flaming robot, its iron body ablaze with determination? Or the twisted, worm-like creature? The battle raged on, the outcome hanging precariously in the balance.
Proto-Syal charged forward, its mechanical body glowing with a fierce blue light as it built up energy for its ultimate attack. The robot's fist crackled with otherworldly energy, its mechanical muscles coiled with explosive power.
The worm-like creature, sensing its chance, shot forward like a living bullet, its twisted body propelling itself with a grotesque, squirmy motion.
The two combatants met in a spectacular collision, Proto-Syal's charged punch connecting with the worm-like creature's disgusting tip. The impact was colossal, the two forces meeting in a shower of sparks and energy.
The worm-like creature was pulverized by the punch, its twisted body disintegrating into a mess of gooey, stringy tendrils. The creature's malevolent energy dissipated, its dark presence vanishing from the battlefield.
Proto-Syal stood victorious, its mechanical body glowing with a fierce blue light as it absorbed the energy from the impact. The robot's fist was still clenched, its mechanical muscles still trembling with power.
Riski approached the robot, a look of relief and admiration on his face. "Well done, Syal, we successfully take down Fortuned Monster! Probably we should call it Unfortunated" he said, his voice filled with gratitude and humorous tone.
Proto-Syal's mechanical body relaxed, its glowing blue light fading as it powered down. "Mission accomplished," the robot said, its voice calm and detached. Syal personalities kind mix up with Proto when he possessed.
"I want to asked, I was fighting monster before, she had two core and unknown mystical profession, by human standard isn't she also fortuned monster?" Proto-Syal asking with Mechanical voice.
"The fate chart isn't same for the monster. You see with losing of their intellect, they can't use most of they abilities. Only Seduloused level monster can instinctively use they're power or monster with mind core's. Fated and Fortuned can't without mind core. Passive enhanced is still active, some case even becoming stronger. Because that many reasons, human fate chart can't be applied for monster. Only three core monster plus they unknown can be considered Fortuned. For Seduloused, well even only with one core and one mystical profession, as long the monster have unknowns advanced mythical profession, it's Seduloused level monster. Still many I can explain but the time didn't let us."
The battlefield was silent once more, the only sound the creaking and groaning of twisted metal and the distant hum of Proto-Syal's mechanical body. The monster was defeated, and the city was safe once more.
Suddenly the massive robot collapsing. Only leaving a small ugly puppet. Syal using all the spirit with the final punch.
Riski instinctively know the ugly puppet is the artifact core. He pick it up and bring inside. Time to deal with the aftermath.
