Chapter 6 - 5.

After we followed chunin into the academy building, they checked our physical strength, endurance and dexterity in some common ways, this test doesn't really show if kid is ready to be ninja or not, after that they gave leaf to each participant and told them to stick it on their body. This step failed almost 60% of the kids, most of them are just ordinary civilians who just want to have better life for their family, it's obvious that ninjas in militaristic city earn more, than civilians. Exceptions are merchants, they earn more than A rank Jonins and below. There were about 40 children of merchants here.

Very often, merchants send their 3rd or younger children to the ninja academy. Until they graduate from the academy, they help them financially and provide everything they need so that their children can work for them later.

Of course, none of them become official ninja, they leave the academy in the last year. But even last year's student can beat an ordinary adult 1 on 1.

Yes, it's not enough to defend the whole business and even the family, but later they can go to the Iron Country and learn swordsmanship in some public samurai dojo. There are public and private dojos in Iron Country. The public dojo is open to everyone until they can pay for the training, and it must be said that training in the dojo costs 500 ryo per lesson. It's expensive.

Mission costs in our village are as follows: E rank: 20~100 Ryo, but these are the easiest missions for 1 person. D rank: 60~200 Ryo, but unlike E ranks, D ranks are for teams of 4, 1 Chunin~Jonin and 3 Genins, 30~35% takes the team's teacher and 1 Genin will be 16~20%. C rank is for either strong 1 Chunin or for 3 average Genins and it costs 300~2000 Ryos. B rank: 3~4 Chunins and max 1 strong Genin or 1 strong Special Jonin, the mission price of this rank is 1500~4000 Ryos. A rank: at least 3 strong Special Jonin or/and 2 average C rank Jonin, its price varies from 5000~10 000 Ryos. And S-rank missions need 3 A-rank and 1 S-rank Jonins, there is no fixed price for this mission, it's just ~20 000 + Ryos. Also, there are + missions that are not so hard to be 1 rank higher, but they are neither common nor easy to do. And to create a better understanding of the money system, I can only say that the price of 1 kg of rice is 1~2 Ryos.

Back to reality, every kid from clan or ninja family passed this exam easily. For the next exam, we didn't do anything ourselves, a woman with byakugan and a young man with his sensory ability checked our chakra reserves and wrote our scores on the paper.

Then we were told to wait 30 minutes for the final results, which would determine which class we would be assigned to.

There are 4 official classes and a closed one for the future Anbu's, we have a completely different program, also they finish their study in 3~4 years while we have to study 6.

4 official classes are A, B, C, D. D is for those kids who will go to research and cryptography department, our and Nara clan sometimes help them.

It's understandable why Naras help there, but you may ask, what are we doing there? It's because of our memory, thanks to our techniques, we can remember everything once we store it in our mind. It mostly depends on the person how long and how much they can remember. I can remember almost everything since I started studying with the clan teachers and my father.

The next class is class C, the so-called abandoned class, almost every merchant's child is in this class. The teachers have a special training program for them, for example, they don't teach them ninjutsu, only chakra control at the level of a 4 year old child from a small clan.

As for A and B class, the only difference between them is chakra reserves and chakra control. The biggest disadvantages of B-class students are their chakra quality and chakra reserves. If they improve their chakra control and increase their chakra reserves, then they have a chance to change class.

But why is Class A so special? It's because Class A becomes a Jonin as a team leader, and Class B becomes either a Chunin or a Special Jonin.

Special Jonins are physically equal to C-rank Jonin, but C-rank Jonin have mastered 2 different elements or some combat specialization, like swordsmanship or shuriken throwing, they also have to pass exams on cryptography, strategy, etc.

Anyway, after 32 minutes, they started calling out the names of those who passed the exams and which class they were assigned to. There were some civilians and some merchants' kids who didn't pass, 2 kids in expensive clothes started arguing with the examiners, after 2 minutes they started threatening them with their family's influence and connections. It didn't last long, in 4 minutes the kids were thrown out and their parents were fined. I don't think their parents will be happy with their behavior. The village can even refuse to accept a mission from a merchant who threatened some ninja.

Of course, I was enrolled in class A, just like every other kid from the clan. Our class teacher was a woman with brown hair and black eyes. She told us to follow her to our classroom, so we did. On the way, I began to observe the children. I didn't recognize any of them from the anime, but I had met and played with some of them in the past, especially with Aburame Gonda, Kurama Nia and Inuzuka Mei.

Gonda is a boy with blond hair, which is not common in their clan, and has a quiet but cheerful personality. Mei is a blue-haired girl, always with a straight face, unlike her dog who never stays in one place and is always trying to do something. Finally, Nia has black hair like everyone in her clan, she always has some flowers in her hair, which she buys from our flower shop every day, I know she just wants to see me there, I understand she has her first crush on me, unfortunately I see her as a little sister, even in the future I don't think I will be able to share the same feeling with her. I can't even think about my boyfriend or family member in a different way.

I'm not the kind of person who just thinks about how to f*ck everything that moves and if it doesn't move, how to make it move to f*ck it.

While I was curiously observing the surroundings, we arrived at our classroom and took our seats. I sat in the front with 5 of my friends.

Hm, she is a bit taller than I thought. - He thought unhappily, "Ninja must be able to judge everything at first sight. Even though I'm making good progress in understanding the mind, soul and Fuin, it's still not enough. It's already time to ask Tsunade to teach me medicine, even though I know a bit about genetics and the human body, I only have knowledge about a human from my world, I need to study how the chakra affects the human body.

"Okay, children, my name is Kuria Kotsu, I am Konoha's Chunin and I will be your teacher for the next 6 years..." - their new teacher began her speech.
